Small bobbin/flyer wheel set on an ornately turned frame in two parts. Lower part has square base and four turned uprights. Treadle between uprights on left is at right angle to the footman. Two wooden pieces 9″ (~22.8 cm) by 5¼” (~13.3 cm) are between upper and lower frames. Upper frame is rectangular, held by four short turned posts, with a metal drive wheel 6¾” (~17 cm) diameter with 8 spokes on the right and the bobbin/flyer unit on the left. Mother-of-all moves on a threaded screw set into the left end of the frame. Two parts of the distaff are present.
