Flax wheel attributed to Heinrich Scheddel has rectangular table on three turned legs. Pair of turned wheel posts set into the table hold the drive wheel on the right. Pair of braces go from the wheel posts to the top of the table. Drive wheel has 12 spokes. The treadle, between the two front legs is attached to the drive wheel axle by a wooden footman. The bobbin/flyer unit is on the left end of the table. Two sections of the distaff are present.
